Elmax, an Italian electronic
security manufacturer for residential and commercial buildings, has officially
launched its alarm control GSM intrusion detection products in the country
aimed at activating home devices and home intrusion detectors.
The device, which has been tailor-made
for African residential and commercial buildings and configured by software
developed by specialised engineers, allows high reliability, high speed of dialling,
clearest audio, and customised functions that provide customers with confidence.
Mr. Cristiano Chieppa, International
Development Manager speaking at the product launch in Accra, explained that the
application uses GSM devices and has been designed with embedded module devices,
totally programmed -- instead of classic GSM components which require external
logic.
“Our control panels with GSM embedded
have dedicated input and output lines which are well-separated from other input
lines-- which as well gives full flexibility for zones programming.
“The free applications for
ios and android development objective and java ensure easy management for the
end-user, adding flexibility never seen before.”
Mr. Chieppa indicated that the home
intrusion detector is ensured a long lifecycle due to easy software upgrade,
and has been combined with high performance and reliability, ease of use and
maintenance -- and comprises a central unit, electronic key, and a GSM dialler
on board.
The programming, which is
self-learning, is extremely simple through the use of a single key and a
two-colour LED.
He explained that the products are
alarm control panels for intrusion detection, auto diallers integrated in
control panels, a gate-opener and all the accessories such as electronic keys,
and radio receivers.
“For us, security is not an abstract
concept but something very concrete. For this reason we are constantly
searching for new solutions and innovations in a market that requires
standards, performance and high quality; without forgetting, however, ease of
installation and use,” he said.
Mr. Henry Treku, Business
Development Director, New Edge Global, official distributors of the product in
