Engen introduces new fuels and lubricants

The new Engen Dynamic Diesel and Engen Primax Super Unleaded heralds a new era in petrol and diesel technology. Its trade-marked state-of-the-art detergency addictive pack is so advanced that it surpasses all current fuel specifications -- including the requirements of older IDI and modern HSDI engine technologies.

The new Engen Dynamic Diesel and Primax is intelligent enough to intuitively deliver everything your engine needs to perform at its peak. It cleans and restores dirty fuel systems to their original design state, while new fuel systems are protected and maintained to increase performance and lifespan.

Mr. Henry Akwaboah said Engen Chemicals markets hydrocarbon solvents and process oils manufactured at Enref together with imported Fluids, polymers, chemical intermediates, dyes and white oils sourced from ExxonMobil Chemical and other multinational suppliers.

“Engen as a global energy company produces and markets fuels and lubricants for all industrial and automotive applications. All these are formulated to deliver performance according to the requirements of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) such as BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Caterpillar, General Motors, Nissan and Toyota among others,” he explained

Mr. Akwaboah said some industrial players have made motorists believe they need to choose between fuel that satisfies performance and fuel that meets demands of the economy.
The new fuel is a tailor-made intelligent technology, offering superior performance and more kilometres per tank -- making it the most intelligent fuel.

He said the technologically advanced additive pack also includes a new generation detergent that cleans and improves the car’s engine as the organic combustion provides more complete combustion of the fuel.
The new technology is specially designed for newer engines that operate at higher temperatures but is equally effective on older vehicles, he said.

The Engen Primax Unleaded adapts to one’s driving needs, combining enhanced performance and fuel economy. The technologically advanced additive pack also includes a new generation detergent that cleans and improves ones’ car engine.

The lubricants launched -- PETRONAS Syntium 3000 and Engen X-treme 5W-40, which are both synthetic oils -- reduce friction in the engine and improve lubricity to ensure energy efficiency and even better fuel economy.

The new technology is specially designed for newer engines that operate at higher temperatures, but is also effective on older vehicles.

The Petronas Syntium range, of which the 3000 is a member, is a fully synthetic oil rated 5 w 40 with API SN/CF was formulated with great collaboration between Mercedes, AMG and Petronas of Malaysia, and is current sponsor of the Mercedes F1 team headlined by Lewis Hamilton.

The company also launched Engen Readymix Coolant, a phosphate-free pre-mixed engine coolant base. It provides excellent corrosion protection to all cooling system metals and alloys used in internal combustion engines. Engen Readymix Coolant is designed for the Do-It-Yourself enthusiast.

Meanwhile, the company has introduced the Engen 1-Card to offer convenience and security, thereby controlling and eliminating the need to carry or issue bundles of cash or vouchers paying for services at their various stations.

The all-new Engen 1-card is a new generation fuel card fleet solution for safe, secure transactions that will help keep you in control of fleet expenses.

With the Engen 1-Card, one receive monthly statements informing where, when and how much was spent, together with detailed records of fuel usage.
